Corning partners with Hyundai
Heads-up display (HUD) technology is one of the fastest-growing automotive glass markets. In 2020 automakers sold nearly 5.0 million cars with HUD tech; in 2025, this number will eclipse 10.0 million vehicles. Corning has partnered with Hyundai to create high-quality mirrors, called the Corning Curved Mirror Solution, for Hyundai's latest cars. These mirrors will help project critical driving and safety information, like speed or navigation, several feet in front of the driver instead of on inconvenient dashboards. These innovations will catapult Corning to the forefront of the automotive glass manufacturing markets, especially with EV and luxury vehicle manufacturers.
